In a study conducted in the US, red cabbage microgreens were found to have 40 times more vitamin E and six times more vitamin C than their mature counterparts. Red cabbage microgreens grow well in warmer climates.
Red Cabbage microgreens takes a day longer to germinate compared to other smaller seeds.
Our seeds are certified organic, GMO-free, and non-treated. Grow them either as microgreens or sprouts.
DETAILS: Anthocyanin - improve brain functioning and lessen the risk for certain cancers, high vitamin C content.
SOWING METHOD:
Soilless: Fill potting mix (coco peat + perlite) in a container and spread seeds on the mix surface. Spread seeds evenly and be careful not to overcrowd the tray. Spray water on the seeds to make the mix moist and prevent seeds from dislodging. Cover the seeds for 2-3 days or when seeds start to germinate. Expose the plant to light after germination occurs and water regularly, keeping the mix moist.
Hemp Pad/Mat: Soak in water so the hemp mat is moist. Lay on a flat tray and sow your seeds evenly on mat. Be careful not to over seed as this may cause your seeds to rot because of over crowding. Spray water again on seeds so both mat and seeds are moist. Place the mat in a dark area like a shoe box to allow it to germinate. Once the seeds have germinated, expose to natural light, and keep the mat moist for best results.
GERMINATION PERIOD: 3-4 days after sowing
HARVEST TIME & METHOD: 7-9 days after germination. Use a pair of scissors to harvest just above the potting medium.
Storage
If storing for later use, we recommend refrigerating your seeds in an air tight container.
