Borage Microgreen Seeds (Tastes just like cucumber!)

If you love cucumbers, then you'll love these microgreens! They taste just like cucumber! Borage are also grown into the matured plant for their leaves and edible flowers (perfect for decorating desserts and cocktails!).

GROWING MEDIUM : Potting Mix 

FLAVOUR : Strong cucumber flavour

DETAILS: high source of vitamins B, C, and K, folic acid, and fiber.

SOWING METHOD: 

Potting Mix: Fill good potting mix (coco peat + perlite) in a container, spray water to moisten the mix, and spread soaked seeds evenly on the mix surface. Be careful not to overcrowd the tray. Spray water on the seeds to prevent seeds from dislodging. Sprinkle a layer of potting mix on the seeds to give it the black out period. Set tray aside 5-7 days or when seeds start to germinate.  Expose the plant to light after germination occurs and water regularly, keeping the mix moist.

GERMINATION PERIOD: 5-7 days after sowing. Seeds may not all germinate at the same time.

HARVEST TIME & METHOD: Borage microgreens take longer than most other varieties of microgreens to grow. Harvest after 10-14 days after germination. Borage leaves produce fine hairs so be sure to harvest when the first 2 leaves have grown and before the third one appears. Harvest using a pair of scissors above the planting medium.

Storage

If storing for later use, we recommend refrigerating your seeds in an air tight container.
