Coriander or Cilantro is one of those "love-it or hate-it" herbs. For those who love it, it is one of the most versatile herbs and commonly used in many Asian cuisines.

Growing Baby Coriander

- Coriander seeds germinate faster in cooler climates. In Singapore, it is best to sow them during the cooler months of November-February if growing outdoors, although we have managed to grow them successfully during the months of August and September when the rainfall is heavy.

- Coriander leaves like full sun although a shaded area is also fine, especially during the hot months.

- Soak seeds overnight to soften the coating and allow faster germination.

- If sowing directly in your garden patch, create a row and sow a few seeds about 4-5cm apart.

- Use well-draining soil for growing - a good potting soil mixed with sand is a good start.

- Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Once one or two seeds germinate, the rest start popping up.

- Fertilise with organic fertiliser like vermicompost or meal bone after seedling stage to promote growth.

- Harvest after 30-35 days. To harvest, uproot or pick stems as needed.

Seed Type: Non-GMO, non-treated

Storage

If storing for later use, we recommend refrigerating your seeds in an air tight container.
