This is a fast, easy microgreens to grow, especially in Singapore. Daikon Radish has green leaves and white stems, and has a spicy flavour.
Radish contains more vitamin C than any other microgreens. We've found adding radish microgreens to salads adds a wonderful flavour and adding them to sandwiches or burgers is a great alternative to chilli sauce!

DETAILS: Radish contain 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than their mature counterparts. Maintains liver health (treats jaundice), treats urinary disorders and protects kidneys (acts as diuretic), improves heart health, relieves congestion of airways, lowers blood pressure, controls diabetes, improves skin care.
Potting Mix: Fill potting mix (coco peat + perlite) in a container, spray water to moisten the mix. Spread seeds evenly on the mix surface and spray water to prevent seeds from dislodging. Cover the seeds for 2-3 days or when seeds start to germinate. Expose the plant to light after germination occurs and water regularly, keeping the mix moist.
Coco Mat: Soak in water so the hemp mat is moist. Lay on a flat tray and sow your seeds evenly on mat. Be careful not to over seed as this may cause your seeds to rot because of over crowding. Spray water again on seeds so both mat and seeds are moist. Place the mat in a dark area like a shoe box to allow it to germinate. Once the seeds have germinated, expose to natural light, and keep the mat moist for best results.
GERMINATION PERIOD: 2-3 days after sowing
HARVEST TIME & METHOD: 4-6 days after germination. Use a pair of scissors to harvest just above the potting medium.
