Growing your microgreens hydroponically just means growing them using a non-soil medium. There are many ways to grow your microgreens hydroponically. We have had customers who use cotton wool, sand, and even tissue paper.
Though you will get your microgreens growing using the above methods, you may not get an even yield. Part of the joy of growing microgreens (at least for me) is seeing a lush, blanket-like growth. And to get this, I truly believe it all boils down to good seeds and medium.
