Cress (sometimes called garden cress, garden pepper cress, pepperwort, or pepper grass) is a leafy annual herb from the Brassica family. It is harvested when immature, around 5-6 days after germination, but will grow to a height of around 60cm (24”) if left undisturbed, and then form racemes of white flowers followed by small seedpods. The leaves and stems of young plants are crisp and succulent and high in water content, and the flavour is peppery. Add it to your salad or as a garnish on your grilled fish.
Our seeds are certified organic, GMO-free, and non-treated. Grow them either as microgreens or sprouts.
SEED PRE SOAK : No (seeds are mucilaginous)

MICROGREEN SOWING METHOD:
Soilless: Fill potting mix (coco peat + perlite) in a container and spray water to moisten the potting mix. Spread seeds on the mix surface and again spray water on the seeds to prevent them from being dislodged. Cover the seeds for 2 days or when seeds start to germinate. Expose the tray to light after germination occurs and water regularly, keeping the mix moist.
GERMINATION PERIOD: 2 days after sowing
HARVEST TIME: 6-7 days after germination or when microgreens are about 2-3cm in height.
If storing for later use, we recommend refrigerating your seeds in an air tight container.
